House Rules At GuidoPalooza 1999

I think the first year rules were:
1) Find the surf
2) Try not to drift more than a mile down the beach (this only applied to me)
3) Sleep where ever you want
4) Don't worry if someone steps on your head in the middle of the night
5) Don't forget 4:20
6) Farting is joked about, not forbidden
7) Be spontaneousThe rules did tend to go downhill after that, but I don't quite understand what the fuss is all about....I never really even *read* the rules. Why should the rules, even if posted, be treated any different than like say the rules posted at your favorite break regarding swimming, surfing, etc?....Ya just ignore whatever ones you think are BS. The valid ones should come naturally, and shouldn't have to be written down. Simple enough.
