There's a story somewhere if I can find it!
The swell was moving through the Inside Ocean City Inlet
and breaking nicely on the sandbars inside the inlet. The Ocean City
breaks will still large, grarly and disorganized, but these
longboarders had the right idea. Paul and I ventured north looking for
something more suited to our tastes. We stopped at several spots along
the OC coast, stateline, Bethany and then IRIS, where I snapped several
shots over a 10 to 15 minute span. We continued north and surfed a
favorite spot for nearly two hours. (Click on pic for a larger view.)

Midtown Ocean City
It looks nice but is still
disorganized and the currents
were runny
heavy. Hard
to line up to pick off a
wave. We didn't see
anyone out.

Indian River Southside
Delaware
The regular gang of
southside kamikazi's were
out ripping on the sucking
slammers. They do a very
nice job of it. I passed ;)

| We moved on to a favorite
break, Minefields, and caught
waves that were maybe a
couple feet larger and ton's
of fun. No pics, all surf!
