Here are some pictures from the Amstel Surfari festival. Apparently these UK-styled paipos are presented as part of the prizes & awards and some folks are free to ride them. However, I did not see any photos of paipo surfing.

I was looking to replace my planki board, since i broke it last summer but could not find a new copy (it is the second board to die in my hand that I recovered from a family member's attic).
I saw a copy of the Amstel Surfari in the art section of the Roxy Pro but could not get a hand on the owner to know where it was built or where i could buy one. I will have to track them down... Meanwhile, during the same day I saw a guy with a Hidden Wood Paipo under his arm. After some research I ended up in Hidden Wood's hidden workshop and bought a used copy of their Paipo.
Here is a link to the 3 boards I'm mentioning:

And here is a link to the photos i took during the Roxy Pro Longboard Competition 2011 of Biarritz for those of you who are interested:

Not much of a beach but a great paipo wave not so far from Biarritz. Not the biggest day I surfed it but the cleanest. Lots of waves north and south.
