here is my just finished cat paipo made of book matched tulip poplar can you see the cat face? it is 18" at the nose and 8" at the tail and 48" long (leaf style) one more board to come from the same wood next week sometime. MIKE Cool

Classy grain. Is this another board worth trying what it rides like, reversed? That 18" nose could make a good tail.
