About 18 months ago, Dale Solomonson put bug in my ear about the possibilities with using boogie board rails on stand-up finless craft when I was talking to him about my garage hacking experiments. In my design process I emailed Tom asking him about some other issue and mentioned the idea in the email. Just sayin'...

Most likely Tom does not even remember the exchange with me but when you least expect it, Dale may be behind the scenes. Cool

Twern't much. Made a stand up finless out of 2 layers home depot foam and one layer plywood (can't remember now, 1/4 inch?). Lammed together in crude rocker press using 2X4's and sand bags. Shaped in boogie rails and some tail concave into the foam. Painted foam w/ acrylic house paint for crude water proofing. Did not work well for me in available tiny, crap beach break but never got the chance to try it in any better surf. Now living in Arizona so ocean time is rare and so far I have just stuck to the reliable Neumatic for the rare go out
