Ted,
I particularly liked the last tube shot. Looks like the waves were a bit tamer than the ones you got last trip. Sure was glassy looking.
What sort of camera was it?

Hi Bob,
The waves were smaller than April 2007 and 2008 -- mostly chest high to head high, though it looks dinky on the video. Surf size is really hard to judge with the 170 degree lens on the helmet; Have a look at the Red Bull helmet cam video at Teahupoo to get an idea how much video minimizes the surf size (http://www.redbullsurfing.com/videos/immersive/). I had hoped for the perfect little tube machine that was working during two days of the 2007 trip, but the mix of SE and SW swell had things crossed up.
The camera is the HC-2 package at Helmetcamera.com. The performance of the unit has been really good.
