Thanks for the effort. Armed with this info I will go back to the travel agent & airlines. Looks like I take a wooden alaia rather than the heavier fibreglass paipo.
I will investiagte whetehr any countries have prohibiitons on wood being 'imported'.

Thanks for the kind offer. We decided to go to less places so we could get a feel for where we were, rather than racing from place to place. UK is off the schedule this time but who knows in the future.

Saw this ad at Swaylock's this morning...and I never looks at the ads...maybe it could help on the transport thing, although I suspect when I see the words "premier" that the word "premium" may not be far behind. |

Thanks. I will check themout. Found a local business that gave a good quote but when it came to the specifics it was around what DHL charged - the actually used DHL.
I will post my experiences when done - only about 11 days until take-off.
