HI my name is mike but the kids on my block call me mrmike. that is because I have made them or showed then how to make paipo boards. I have been makeing paipo for 45 years we called them belly boards back then made them out of old balsa surfboards. MIKE |

The first board I made was back in 1963 my brother and I baught a old 60lb waterloged hobi balsa board we tried to surf it but got tired of it hitting us in the head so my brother sold me his half for $5 so I striped it down and made two 4ft belly boards(that what we called them back then)I sold one for $25 and keeped the other that how I got started. I surfed santa anna river mouth on a 10ft day with that board I was the only one to get out that was the days before leashes MRMIKE |

Mr Mike,
The paipo forums do not have an organic way of hosting pics at this time. Many members use another site such as photobucket to post the pics and then link to them by copying the pic's URL and using the "image" command (Img) in the forums posting button bar.
