This is my way of catching up on the cat boards I didn't make last year. The Year of the 2 Day Paipo, or Weekend Paipo for some of you. It means I'll have to do something different than my usual varnish finish that can take a week or two. I'll have to try some oil finishes. I also want to experiment with making a sealer from dirty old surf wax. Getting a vac bag system will help speed up certain designs, but I also want simple projects that folks can do rather quickly. Ideally the board must be test ridden by sunset of the 2nd day. Plus wood scraps and waste burned in a beach fire after the test ride. Have a good year everyone.

dude, you are like some crazy one man paipo factory. what do you do with all the paipos laying around? I would feel accomplished if I got one completed this year! OK I'm inspired. I will try to be a little more productive.
