I had a break between projects, surf and fishin' are crappy and wifey was out of town so I went on a surf shop tour which I try and do every so often. The price of stand up surfboards is all over the map and it seems like there are 5 times as many shapers and gobs of chinese crap as well.
All the body boards pretty much look alike although Morey's new stuff is kind of cool; not sure where they are made.

Anyway I hooked up with Jeff? and lo and behold old paipo and kneelo nirvana; Sorry the pictures aren't better, the boards are obviously hung from the ceiling and there was not room to lay down or get shots of the hulls. This is about 1/2 the collection......... in the shop.....

Wow, Uncle Grumpy... that's some awesome vintage paipo action right there! Thanks for posting that... I love seeing the old 60s/early 70s boards.

...that pintail 48" Knee Machine? One of those hangs in the Palace. It's flat as an ironing board and 1" thick with a small glassed-in red fin.

Quite a collection of paipos at the Leucadia Surf Shop. Kneeridin's collection isn't bad either, plus he's added a few more since we shot that pic 3 or 4 yrs ago, AND he rides his entire quiver!
