Cape K? Nice shots!

We had a swell pop-up overnight in the DelMarVa yesterday (Sunday). I jettisoned the merry-go-round stream of parents, nieces, nephews, son and the dogs that have been co-habitating at the homestead the past two weeks, made some quick phone calls and headed to the shore late morning.

We had some swell -- no pics that I took but these pics of Maryland and Delaware were posted on area forums:

Wow! The pitching lips on those dredging Atlantic tubes look like they could snap you in two.

I took the early morning shots standing way out on the exposed reef next to the cliff at low tide. The right from that peak was working all morning though. It cleaned up a little (and also got smaller) before we left.
