Guys, guys, guys! I've noticed very few posts recently so I draw your attention to: http://groups.msn.com/Pipeline2001Classic/redwingswebsite.msnw
In case you haven't seen it, go through the photo links to see paipo boards and handboards without foam, fibre-glass or fins but still ridden in great waves by masters. Perhaps we all need to simplify, Man! |

I didn't know this conterst was still going on. I only knew about it from the HPD website. We (me?) missed that, it seems like we ( all us paipo boarders) should have made a big deal of that. Is anyone on this site been to that event? Paepo? I didn't see many photos of acual boarding, seemed like more bodysurfing. Good though. |

Uncool. The referenced site requires cookies to be enabled and javascript to be activated. Why? There should be no need to do this merely to view pictures.
I think I'll pass. |

This little one that looks like a seat cushion template is interesting. Notice the handle loops in the right front corner. Bigger than most handboards but smaller than most paipos. Any of you ever play around with this cubit length of board? Forearm boards?
I'm referring to a photo of Mike Wong's paepo boards on page three of the paipo boards photo section of the 2004 contest. |

Poobah, I've got a couple of handboards that approach the two foot mark, but frustratingly enough I can't access the link you gave. Sigh!.... The marvels of modern technology. Are you talking about the 'manta ray' shaped board in the group photo? Sorry to PaipoJim that you couldn't see the images easily. It would be interesting to drop an e-mail to Mike Kliks and invite him to our group if he isn't already aware of us. |
