Food and Spirits

**This introduction may look the same as last year's but please READ IT AGAIN!!!**
One of the many highlights of past GuidoPaloozas has been the sharing of culinary delights and GPers' local craft brews. Breakfasts have been a combination of communal feasts, do-it-yourself, and special productions (ala Neal Carver). Lunches are normally on-your-own. Dinners are lavish affairs hosted by one or more guests and have featured some special treats over the years, including gourmet presentations (tasty and filling are the only requirements!). As has been the custom the past few years, the GP house will buy basic condiments; paper plates, cups and supplies; and, ice... everyone else should bring their favorite snacks, breakfast foods, etc.

The past few years we dined on pizza delivered from Topper's after a surf session stretching into sundown.
Very good, finally a decent pizza shop on Hatteras Island!

This year's menu is listed below - a work in progress as we approach GP³2K12.
**Special items: George will bring a rice cooker and coffee bean roaster, grinder & espresso maker; Neal will bring his super griddle.**

Sunday Dinner	Pasta Delights with meat sauce, fresh grated cheese, salad and garlic bread - Rick Miale assisted by DaGriz. Confirmed!
Monday Breakfast	Dawn Patrol Treats - Jeff Cahill and On Your Own. Confirmed! Post-Surf BL&T Breakfast Sandwiches - Neal Carver. Confirmed! George's Jungle Blend Espresso & Cafe Goya Espresso, Latte and Cappuccinos - Rod and George of the Jungle. Confirmed!
Monday Dinner	Charcoal Grilled Chicken Tacos with beans, rice, tortillas, chips, salsa, and guacamole - Tim Lumley. Confirmed! Corn bread and sides, probably a potato salad and grilled tomatos - Chris Smith. Confirmed! Chicken on the Grill - by Doug "Bisquito Grande" Norris (tentative & TDD)

Tuesday Dinner	Comido Latino Pork - Giles. Confirmed! Corn/Black Bean Relish - DaGriz. Confirmed! Rice & Beans, Plantains - Rod. Confirmed!
Wednesday Breakfast	Dawn Patrol Treats - Jeff Cahill and On Your Own. Confirmed! George's Jungle Blend Espresso & Cafe Goya Espresso, Latte and Cappuccinos - Rod and George of the Jungle. Confirmed!
Wednesday Dinner	Open (Tom & Issy can't make it this year). (tentative & TDD)
Thursday Breakfast	Krustez pancakes - Rick Miale. Confirmed! Pancake accompaniments (meats, syrup, etc.) - Rod. Confirmed! George's Jungle Blend Espresso & Cafe Goya Espresso, Latte and Cappuccinos - Rod and George of the Jungle. Confirmed!
Thursday Dinner	Open.
Friday Breakfast	Dawn Patrol Treats - Jeff Cahill and On Your Own. Confirmed!

Someday Lunch	Lunches are on our own.

Notes:	Meals plans are subject to change due to surf conditions, appetites and ambient conditions. George of the Jungle fresh roasted espresso, kona & yemeni beans, fresh ground at the GP House and brewed. Future year promise: Myroni's Special Stromboli Recipe - Myroni

Craft Brews ...and Spirits	Rod - Mixed case of Maryland craft brew plus some Ron Barrilito and probably some Big Blue or Great Green, and some white rum for mojitos. Don't forget the mint! RickM - Top shelf gin and tonic water (no diet tonic water!). I'll bring beer from Highland Brewing Company, a local brewer. DaGriz - Rum!!! Tim Lumley - Sweetwater brew from the Atlanta, GA, area.
