RickM here, rider of red 90, one of Rod's old boards.
I've been thinking about making a hpd style board. Not sure if I want to go with an alaia or a guitar pick. I was thinking marine plywood with rounded edge that's sanded or cleaned up with a rasp. I'm not a woodworker by any means, which is why I'm thinking plywood so if I trash it I can use it in a bonfire. |

I've posted these elsewhere, but here's a couple of ply paipo's a friend and I made.
And here's one in action. Really fast and great fun!

Birch work ok? That I can get. Marine, no. I'll grab some this w/e.
Kid, I like that lip on that...nice work.
MrMike...nice stuff. You must have 100 boards. |
