Anyone try riding paipo in Maui? It looks like a decent southwest swell should be working this week. |

Haven't tried or even been on a trip there yet. I think a place near the lahaina harbor (that's on the the south shore right?) works well on south swells. _________________ " NO SCARED UM, GO GET UM! " |

There was some small surf on the coast south of Lahaina -- tons of SUP's and longboards out. Ironically, guys around here complain about the Big Island blocking out the summer surf while we complain about Maui blocking out the winter surf.
It looks like there are some really good winter spots here.
How is the SW working for you? |

Went out this past sunday to my usual spot (which works really well on SSW swells) and it was okay, about 2-3. Probably will go again some time later this week when that supposed big SSW will come in. _________________ " NO SCARED UM, GO GET UM! " |
