Over the years I've thought about making a paipo from a wood pallet, but just never got around to it. Now I feel I must build one after reading some of the following pallet facts:
◦Approximately 40% of all hardwood harvested in the U.S. is for making shipping pallets
◦About two-thirds of pallets are used only once before being thrown out
◦1/4 of all wood in landfills is from used pallets |

I'm with you, that sounds like an interestting project. But most of the pallets around here (nor cal) don't look like hardwood to me. More like cottony pine. Either way I may join you. Hmmm I need some big clamps. |
