I found this site so inspiriational. The whole section on alaia boards with video was just great. There's also a section on design where he talks about bottom and rail shape and how it effects the boards natural direction of travel. He talks a fair ammount about flex as well. I appologize if I sound too excited!

Tom has a DVD that's worth the money if your seriously interested.
His brother Jon is shaping Alaia's here in So Cal and has access to Paulownia.
