HI all: all paipo riders in the san diego area are welcome to come and surf on new years day with us at coronado beach we will be on the south end of the baech in front of the hotel del coronado you can't miss it there is a big pile of rocks out front we will be just to the left.(THE PIT) I am sorry for the short notice it just came up. There will be at least 3 and maybe 4 if larry comes, eff you can come too but we will understand if you don't make it. The surf will be about 2 to 4ft with a dropping tide with a light offshore wind and water is 58 so bring your long suit. For all who can't come have a good new year MRMIKE Cool

Hope you guys had a nice new-years surf. I went into the waters here a few days before (the water temps are 5 degrees celsius, don't know what that is in F) with 5 mil suits, hood, booties and gloves. Felt like a diver!

I wanted to test my turtleface alaia (you can see it floating in the foreground) but it went a bit different: my new dive-fins weren't adjusted properly, so i lost them on the paddle out (i had finsavers luckily) and without propulsion, the rip bounced me over one of the half submerged breakwaters Very Happy Not much surfing for me after that, but i learned loads ahahaha
