Finally starting to get some waves in my part of California, but kind of crossed up...from every direction at once it seemed. I left Alien Gonzalez in the truck. Bodysurfing and handboarding wasn't happening either after ten minutes so I went back and hauled the old Morey Wedge bodyboard out and down the rocks. Every now and then a wave had some shape. With no consequence and few people in the water it was total playtime.

Let me say it's true, a modern bodyboard can go faster if ridden upside down and backwards! Cool!
