There has to be some correlation to the extreme prices people will pay for old belly boards and paipos - and the extreme lack of interest in contemporary prone riding. Weird. |

Collecting surfing memorabilia...the baseball cards of the New Century...I wonder how many people really do think they are financing their children's college educations...or maybe...paipos and bellyboards are just really spacy and outrageous looking...don't take up much space on the wall...wives might not object as much...very rare and unusual...the whole family might ride surftechs but a bellyboard might confer a level of cool... |
