Hi Larry,
Not my artwork, but... it IS my board:)
a good friend of mine shaped it for me (his first bodyboard after loads of stand-up boards). He's a good artist too and he must have known what kind of artwork i like
The boards is great by the way: kind of big for a paipo (2 x 4 foot), almost flat with a deep concave and a two-fin setup (FCS).
Even in the smallish waves we have here in Holland most of the time it FLIES!! Can it be a member of the lamaroo-league?
Below a picture of a painting i did (it's called Sharkfeet) on an old standup board. I was thinking about sawing it in half and making two paipo's out of it

My favorite paipo is actually a kneeboard...approximately 53" long and a little over 22" wide at the wide point. It too is a twin with O'Fishel fins. Very good float for small or really cold days! I recall others here have gone the kneeboard/paipo route. And not to overlook the infamous El Paipo Grande at 8'8"! |

Maybe i should use the 7.3 pictured above as a paipo on small days then
On the other hand: sometimes i like to have my board als little float as possible. I like swimming, and surfing with a plywood paipo comes very close to that.
Like supercharged bodysurfing! _________________ Increasing succes by lowering expectations

Ya, I figured you would have incorporated the twin concaves into the artwork, like the nostrils of some abstract hippo or something like that. |
