Now that's really cool...yeah, I've heard of Gunther Glass, even way back here on the East Coast. It was a long long time ago, and I cannot remember the context at all. But that thing looks gorgeous. You're in old paipo/bellyboard heaven out there, aren't you? Lucky! |

I remember going in a few times... the guy, "Danny" or perhaps "Denny"(?) was an Asian guy who was very helpful with beginner board builders. He had a notebook with photos of all the local guys who had made their own with supplies bought at the shop.
He had a nice collection of brand new longboards when he closed shop. I remember seeing asymmetrical tails and beautiful pigment/pinline work on some of those. That would have been early to mid 70's. Haven't heard anything since. |

I know this is a very old thread, but was wondering if anyone had the images that were originally posted here? They've disappeared since they were posted and I'd love to see them. |
