Cool stuff. Went and looked at those Wave Arrow boards www.wavearrow.com/photos.html. Interesting hybrid design. Bottom very reminiscent of John Galera's in the triplane with concave and of course a big tip of the hat to Greenough's triplanes.

Anybody posting here tried one out? Love an unbiased ride report. How do they work in weaker waves like Calif.? I would think the fins would be superfluous except maybe in really dredging hollows.

Hello Geoffrey,

I can't answer your questions though have asked Gus Acosta for an interview. From next week I'm away until July so you won't get an answer in the short term. I've also asked Robert Moynier for an update on his two shorter bonzer paipo.

A few finless interviews coming up. Not sure if you saw the other recent ones: Bick, Kidman & Heath. Some UK content + Kid has said he will try to make a replica of Peter Kidman's board from the 50s.

regards

Bob

"Patience is a virtue". I'd maybe make the Wave Arrow a bit narrower and lose the fins. But just thought experiments at this point.

Interviews are great and much appreciated!!!
