The count and the amount is:
campsite 40 Rod and Kage
campsite 41 Soulgider and three
campsite 28 Mr. Mike and two and Uncle Grumpy
campsite 38 Poobah and John Mellor
possibles:
Mack Mcconal and wife (may camp or not),
Baidarka and family (total four?),
Birdie (and ?) (if she can get a ride).
Twelve for sure and maybe 20 on the extreme outside?
I tried to figure this out from the posts, and assign people who need spots acordingly, please correct if you can. Each campsite can have max. two cars and eight people. With four campsites we can have 32 people so we are good on that score. If we have a lot of people staying over on Sunday night it might get a little squeezy, I am losing 40 and 41 that night.
The cobble factor. Typically the closer you get to the water the more the sand has washed out between the softball to football sized rocks. I can't say it usually bothers me. Ok to walk on, not where you would lay down for a sun bath.
I actually have an expresso maker that works when camping . It takes a lot of work for not a whole lot of coffee. And you have to endure the snickering of the boiled coffee puritans. But then at the end you have a latte and they don't. |

The campfire espresso makers all sound good to me - I don't really need the 'cappy/latte part - pouring in some cold or warm milk works for me, or stright-up! Kage and I had talked about staying Sunday night as well. _________________ rodNDtube

The whole campsite used to be first come first served. Now they take reservations for about half the sites. They are booked up for regular sites, which only means about half. I suspect that if we are on the spot Sunday morning we would be able to score a couple of walk on sites, though probably not the ones we were in before. I think (guess) most campers will probably be leaving Sunday.
An alternative:
There is a group site available for Sunday night that fits like forty people. However it costs $80.00 I think. I'm in for $20.00 if we think we can get three more contributors. As we may be at a state of open warfare or at least fractalized chaos by that time it might warrant careful consideration. |

I'm in for $20. Keep the good beer cold and I should be a happy soul. _________________ rodNDtube
