I made another hoop fin board don't ask me why? the fin won't come off this time it is routed all the way through the board the board .it is 14.5" at the nose and 12.5" at the tail and 42" long will try it on monday

when the board get going it won't slip the faster you go the more it sticks so turns at fast speeds need a little more umph to turn it but boy is it fast  _________________ PAIPO ON

I was wondering who was going to break the silence. We went 25 days without a posting in the Design & Building section. I'll have to get photos of my latest projects...a rail fin paipo and a Cornish style roundtail. |

had it out on some 4ft stuff but it was kind of mushey still fast but I should of use a fin less board on those mushey days. you get a little more slip on that musher stuff I like that

That board's breaking the rules! It's nekkid! And oak, if I'm not mistaken?? I thought oak would be too heavy for a paipo. |

I have made boards out of all kinds of wood they all work I got one out of black walnut one of my favorites it is not about floation it is about how well they plane the exter wight does not matter in the water as a matter of fact a little heavyer board hold the speed .
