Does anyone out there wear elbow pads to avoid board abrasion/bruising? If yes....any suggestions on best type and where to obtain? Thanks. |

I haven't used elbow pads that you would slip or strap on your arm, but I have experimented with pads on the deck & putting extra padding in the elbow area of my wetsuit. I've glued the same material used for kneeboard deck pads onto bodyboards. This would obviously work for a hard board too. I've also cut up old computer mouse pads and turned them into elbow patches/pads on my wetsuit. Both methods provided extra cushion/grip & held up until I retired the board or wetsuit. |

John Galera's boards have elbow and a tail pad - glued on. I think he suggested once that mouse pads do the job,
