I've had my eye on the Rainbow keels since I first saw them on their website. I've wondered about them. I just recently got word from Ken in Ventura that Skeletor had his glassed-on fins removed and fin boxes implanted. Skeletor had long suffered from fin delam problems. Oily wood, bad ju ju or some combination of the two. The new Rainbow keels look great...almost intimidating. I like the ample glass bead. Ken says Skeletor feels faster and more responsive.

Poobah - My new 4'10" fish has glass-on Rainbow keel fins; they look more like Gephart's than the ones you show in the pics. I LOVE the way the new board feels! I guess I could try to post a pic on here; perhaps I'll give it a try. Glad you got those put on...have a blast. |
