The Santa Cow Surfrider Award
This award recognizes an alt.surfing GP participant who shares their goodness and truth. The awardee settles for nothing less than the finest in GP leisure activities, including dining, writing, waveriding and chanting. Upon acceptance the awardee will lead GP'ers in one round of “moos.”
The Panama Monkey Trophy
Awarded to the GuidoPaloozer who most embodies the PanamASolas spirit of fun and challenge as the biggest party animal, as symbolized by the memorable imbibing of rum and warm strawberry soda. This trophy will be circulated annually.
Robb "Muffin" Smith

Mike "Punchy" Phillips
The Whoopie Cushion Award
Awarded to the GP'er who will most likely need whoopie the next couple of months.
The Lighthouse Windchimes
Bestowed upon the participant who most urgently needs to post on AS or join the Annapolis Surf Club.
Chris Daniels
Pat "Grinder" Hoge
The History of Surfing Award
Awarded to a GuidoPaloozer that has demonstrated several memorable wave riding feats. This multimedia history of surfing icon (a CD) will be circulated annually.
GuidoPalooza Unbroken Links Award
Awarded to the GP'er providing links to the first GP in 1999 and every year since.
Steve "The Mind" Marshall

What, no foosball this year?
The Robb Smith Golden Wave Award
The possessor of the golden wave award can call "golden wave" and have priority on that wave.  While we cannot restrict non-GP'ers from dropping in on them (without conventional weapons) it is the code of those involved to give that wave to the recipient. If 'golden wave!' is called and the person does not catch it then that is just too damn bad.  Use your resources wisely.  One cannot give out 'golden waves' arbitrarily.  As a matter of fact, only Robb (and a person Robb appoints when he starts drinking too much) can give out 'golden waves.' And if appointed, you cannot give 'golden waves' to yourself- that would be crazy. (two others:  ??)

Svetlana Filer now rides a SuperPaipo so watch out!
The Thermos
The thermos disappeared for a year after having been awarded to Ben Rak for the best World Surfing Day post for 2001.  It reappeared at this year's GP and SteveM told the story... well he tangentiated.

... and ends with Ferg.
The Coveted and Legendary Surfing Santa
Since Santa is such a long distance traveler he is awarded to the GP attendee who travels the farthest. This is done with the agreement by the recipient that he will, in the event he cannot attend next year, return Santa to the event coordinators after one year, AND agree not to abuse or defame Santa in any way, excluding good natured ridicule which is ok since Santa is an annoying little SumBitch after he performs a few times.

The Blue Crush Movie Poster Award
Awarded to the GP attendee whose surfing has most improved over the last year, or who surfs like a girl.

Svetlana Filer
Kim
The Magical Antlers
These antlers provide mystical powers when adorned while riding the waves.
The Rico and Lynne Bates Stoke Shirt Award
This hand made shirt is given to the GP attendee who demonstrates the most enthusiasm or stoke during one or several days of the GP. It is a non-returnable prize that can be bartered for other prizes with GP recipients in the event it doesn't fit or compliment the recipients "style." Ultimately the shirt represents the wearer as unique and totally stoked!!
Neal "Electric Ham" Carver
KC "Sunshine" Filer
The WipeOut Ball
The Wipe Out Ball is awarded to the GP attendee who, by the majority vote of the awards committee, has demonstrated the most surfing skill on one or more days of the GP. It is a returnable award and the recipient agrees to send it or bring it back for next year’s GP and agrees further not to set it off in business meetings or at church.
The Cape Cod Oldtimers T-Shirt
Awarded to the oldest GP attendee in the hopes he will be granted another year of surfing by Huey.

Rod Rodgers was the lucky winner... only because Foon couldn't make it!
